If you checked the comments from the last post the Fredstrom predicted the Suns to be .500 after 12-14 games. Obviously the Fredstrom was off a bit, their record looks good but their playmaking is quite the opposite. It's incredible to think that the Suns have the 2nd highest scoring offense in the league and give the ball away 34 times per game! Okay it's actually 17 per and they only force 12. Think about the other team starting the game off with 5 straight possessions, not good. The Suns average margin of victory is just over 4pts. per game, think of the margin if they had just 5 less turnovers a game? 9-10 points?
Bad news is that the Suns still aren't playing great defense (27th in the league). Is this still a learning period? Tomorrow night's game against the Rockets should be a good early test of what the Suns are really made of.
Good news: Barbosa is heating up, LB took the Suns on his wobbling shoulders and won that game for them against the Grizz. Boris played with an intensity and a focus that Planet Orange has been begging for. Can the Suns get all cylinders running at the same time and cut down on the turnovers? If so the Suns look like they could be among the league's elite, if not, welcome to Planet Mediocre- Home of the Early Playoff Exit and marking the close of the Suns' small window: (
The Fredstrom guesses that a congratulations is in order for the Arizona Cardinals for their "big" win Monday night. The 49ers aren't that good, that game shouldn't have been that close, the Cards shouldn't have had 17 penalties in the final 20 minutes, but that's what happened. Is this the Cardinals shaking their losing past? Can you believe in this year's Cardinals? Are they a true contender? The Fredstrom would've been convinced had they whipped the Niners back to their century of origin, but they didn't. Until the Cards handle their bidness the Fredstrom won't be a believer. Is Kurt Warner MVP bound? The Fredstrom is close to believing that one.

Ouch, that was a painful congrats for the cards. The OLD cards would have lost that game the NEW cards figured out how to pull it out of their butts. In the end, a win is a win is a win......the way the game was played doesn't change the record.
There is no video on the standings, but you can't tell the Fredstrom that you have crazy confidence in the Cards? Remember how the Cowboys gave the Cards that game a few weeks ago and now the Niners incompetence allows another Cardinals W? The Fredstrom isn't too ready to crown them the NEW Cards yet. What else you got Diamond!
Are you ready to crown them the NEW Suns already then? Because this team sucks! They are off to a 7-3 start, but this team can't score a bucket when they HAVE to, they blew a 13 point lead in the 2nd half against a team who mind you was ALSO missing their lead scorer....WTF. I'm sure you have faith in the Suns, so get on the Cardinals bandwagon, damnit!
Whoa! To quote Tony Montana, "Take it easy!" The Fredstrom is clearly not ready to crown the Suns anything. They have not beaten any teams above .500 and have lost 2 games at home already.
Raja and Nash are concerned about the Suns offensive identity and it's definitely not much fun to watch. In summary, the Fredstrom isn't jumping on any Cardinals bandwagon for fear of breaking his ankles when he jumps off! The Fredstrom is the captain of the Suns bandwagon due to his long lasting citizenship from Planet Orange! Good or bad the Fredstrom has to support them.
I guess today was a good day...for both of us. My native citizenship (Phoenix) causes me to be a Suns and Cards fan (as well as every other Phoenix team). Where's your support?
There is a difference between support and belief. The Fredstrom supports both the Cards and the Suns, whether or not he's a believer is a different story! The Fredstrom is not convinced that the Cards are Super Bowl bound and his jury is still out on the Suns being a championship team.
Whoa.....Whoa! No one said ANYTHING about Super Bowl bound. NFC champions, yes, Super Bowl.....well dare I believe?
I see your point about believing vs. supporting. I will always be a believer.
