The Fredstrom is back and is still unfortunately not the coach of the Suns... but neither is Mike D'Antoni. It has been confirmed that Mike D'Antoni will be the coach of the New York Knicks. He agreed to a 4 year deal worth $24 million. If he though Phx had upper management problems, HOLY COW the Knicks payroll for the next 3 years is listed below...astronomical salaries for many sub par players.
The Fredstrom thinks you only let D'Antoni go if you can replace him with someone that is better. Who is out there that would be a good fit? This blog community wants Doug Collins, but does he want the job? Now that D'Antoni is gone will Collins consider?
On to an even sadder note, the D-Backs have had a rough week. They are 2-5 this past week. The bullpen has had a tough go of it and their hitting has really dropped off. They averaged 8 runs per in their wins and only 3 in their loses. They started out this season really hot and have gone ice cold this week. Let's hope they heat up again and quick. B-Webb's shoulders are going to be getting really heavy if they don't figure it out soon. Fortunately the D-Backs still have a 3.5 game lead in the West. Do you see them turning it around?
As far as the rest of the NBA goes. The Spurs stole one back. The Celtics can't win on the road. Kobe wins the MVP-Lakers up 2-1 but still looking strong and The Fredstrom doesn't really care about the Magic series, but apparently the NBA does. Did you see that extra time they got for that Billups 3? Or that last shot of tonight's game where Turkoglu drew all that foul that wasn't called. The Fredstrom is predicting the Hornets and Lakers to advance. Boston and Detroit will do the same. At this point The Fredstrom is unsure of who will play in the Finals. Your predictions?

GrapeJuice says bring on Doug Collins.....he is the only one that will make Amare rebound....like I said earlier, the Suns will only win if HE rebounds....D-backs rock they will be fine too long of a season to worry about them yet.....I see them winning the west, and from there who knows, again, whoever has the hot hand will win it all....Where is eeelicious been...she needs to let me know about Watson lake....any fish in there, can I bring my boat....come eeelicious where you at.....talk to the Juiceman.....The Fredstom's blog now does fishing reports got to love it.....
JUICE BOX back in the blog! Is Doug Collins even interested? If he's not then who do you think would be able to get through to Amare? D'Antoni says that Amare is stubborn and doesn't listen, doesn't adjust?
Not worried about the D-Backs? It's one thing for a few players to go cold, but the whole team? Championship caliber teams still find ways to compete. Another loss today makes them 3 and 7 in their last 10.
Where's the Squirrel at? Lazy-eeeliscious is out kayaking on the lake getting baked.
And our boy Kobe went 2-10 in the 4th quarter and OT today, was 6-10 fts, and a big airball at the end of OT..MVP-like NOT! Lakers lose. Series tied 2-2.
The Spurs completed dominated the Hornets and tied the series 2-2. Let's hope the Hornets can at least hold home court and win this in 7? They looked horrible tonight. It will be interesting to see how this young team reacts to games 3 & 4.
Also check out the new polls.
Watson is pretty sweet right now. Since the Suns are gone fishing, you should come along, Juicebox. Just saw Amare out there the other day, he totally pimped his boat, it was super sick!
Lake Bake! You didn't see Amare! Juice is serious about coming up! The Fredstrom hopes we don't run you over in your kayak!
He was with Shaq. When Shaq did a little cliff diving, the water level at Watson rose another foot. Created some turbulent water, it was like ocean kayaking, for real!!! Should be beautiful this weekend, highs in the low to mid 80's. Come on up, Juice, the water is fine!
